HAVE YOU CONSIDERED SENDING YOUR CHILD TO A CATHOLIC SCHOOL?
Why choose Catholic education? The next generation will face a host of challenges in the world. We want to help prepare young people to face those challenges with Christ in their life.
Catholic schools offer the technology of today with values for life so that our young people will grow up to be faithful Catholics and loving family members; responsible adults in the workplace and leaders of the world and of their communities.
Our Catholic schools are built on a tradition of excellence. At both the elementary and secondary levels, our schools integrate a comprehensive academic curriculum with strong religious teaching and moral values. Catholic schools educate the heart, mind and soul. The goal of every Catholic school is to help each child become a faith-filled, responsible and productive member of the Church and of society and to become successful in all of life's journeys.
Developing Students that STAND OUT
We want you to see the difference in our kids because at our schools you will find our students celebrating the achievements of others, comforting the grieving, praying for divine assistance, and joyfully celebrating the Holy Eucharist.
In addition to daily prayer and the frequent reception of the sacraments, many of our school students experience the spiritual life of Catholics by participating in Mass and special school retreats. Through these experiences, students come to a greater awareness of the meaning of the words of Jesus: "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst."
We want you to see the difference in our kids because at our schools you will find our students visiting the elderly who live alone, tutoring urban youths who live in single parent homes, participating in activities with children who have disabilities, and distributing gifts to those who have very little weekly income. These students are fully aware of the meaning of the Gospel teaching: "As long as you did it to one of these, the least of my brethren, you did it to me."
Come see the difference then please consider a Catholic education for your son our daughter, it will change their lives.
I homeschooled my children until about a year ago when I enrolled them at PBS. I couldn't be happier. I agree that there are a lot of fundraiser, but you can either 'buy out' of the fundraiser or you can purchase SCRIP and purchase items that you would normally buy anyway (with no out of pocket expense). ... Read more The teachers and all the staff are wonderful, I feel like I'm dropping my kids off at a family member's house. The classroom sizes are small, so everyone knows each other, and the students know all the adults. Don't let the price scare you, a quality education and knowing that your children are in a loving, nurturing, Catholic environment is priceless!
I am a public school teacher of 11 years and my son has been attending PBS since he was 4 years old. He's currently in 1st grade. He is in a class of 10 children. The teachers are capable, caring, and professional. Because it's so small my son knows every adult at the school, and he feels very loved ... Read more and secured. This is more than a school. It's a family. If you compare the price of the public school's extended care programs, you will see that PBS is a much better deal.
I can't imagine my child going anywhere else. The Extended Care Program is truly a blessing for working parents and what I pay in tuition and Extended Care fees is less than I would pay for an after school program or babysitter...This is a real value. Education is a foundation for the future and at PBS my child gets the one-on-one attention she needs. She loves going to school. This is my third child going through the school and I am very pleased with the staff. We are not Catholics but we are treated just like any other family in the school and I like that.
